About the Role:
- 3 x vacancies
- Health Records Team Leader - SMR Scanning & Outpatient Referral Portfolio (Monday to Friday 3pm - 9.30pm)
- Health Records Team Leader - Weekend shift Portfolio (Saturday 6.30am - 3pm)
- Health Records Team Leader - SMR Document Prepping Portfolio (6.30am - 1pm every second Monday, week 2 of roster) - These roles are based in Kingston Centre, Melbourne, Victoria.
As a part of large team, your responsibilities will include:
- Supervise daily operations of the Scanning Centre including workflow and throughput, ensuring KPIs are maintained
- Staff management responsibilities, including but not limited to assisting Manager with recruitment, performance appraisals / Give me 5’s and conflict resolution, leave planning, UKG rostering etc.
- Responsible for daily work allocation, staff rostering, leave planning and UKG
- Escalation point for Scanning Centre staff, e.g. prepping and scanning queries, ROI requests
- Ensure all records are scanned and on SMR in a timely manner
- Monitor and report on Scanning Centre statistics and provide analysis on the data
- Process in coming work / documents from other departments (i.e. red bags, incoming mail etc.).
- Training of new and existing staff
- Undertake quality and audit activities as required
- Partake in administrative duties; write and review departmental procedures, service agreements, respond to SMR queries and ROI request, etc.
- Participation and management of projects as directed
- Cover periods of leave as required, acting for Scanning Centre Manager and covering other Team Leader positions within the department.
- Manage portfolio specific to duties statement (provided as a supplement to this PD)
About You
You have leadership skills and highly organised with great attention to detail. Multi-tasking comes naturally to you and in addition, you have well developed IT, written and verbal communication skills.
