Hastings Deering is currently recruiting for an experienced and dynamic Credit Team Leaderto join our collaborative Credit Team, located at our Head Office in Archerfield. This is a 12 month maternity cover, full-time role, responsible for ensuring a strong cash flow is maintained for the Hastings Deering Group of Companies through the collection of payments from customers and leading a small team of Credit Officers.
You will be required to:
- Lead a small team
- Oversee customer account reviews and maintenance for assigned customers along with contacting assigned customers to discuss overdue accounts & follow up regarding overdue outstanding accounts
- Resolve disputed transactions with customers within target timeframe and engage relevant stakeholders
- Review and release held orders and approve trading limits within authorised level
- You will also be required to develop strong working relationships with customers and conduct regular ledger reviews with key stakeholders!
About you
- You are a skilled Team Leader with previous collection experience working within a complex and diversified organisation.
- Advanced excel skills
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to form relationships with internal & external customers, attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines with competing priorities is required.
- Demonstrated experience in analysing and evaluating financial information
- A Diploma of Credit, Business, Accounting or related discipline will be advantageous to your application.
