$68,884 pa (includes industry and uniform allowances) + super (up to 12%) + leave loading - please note, progression in remuneration (up to Level 8 - $72,838 plus super) is available for this position upon meeting performance and training requirements outlined in a structured Crew Leader framework.Qld Local Government Industry Award (Stream B) - Level 6 of the EBA5

Location: Burpengary - please note, this position will be moving to a Narangba location in the coming months.
About our opportunity
This position leads our unsealed roads crew who maintain our gravel road networks. You will be identifying unsealed Roads and drainage infrastructure defects and their causes in order to rectify and leading a small team to carry out allocated works. The team have several pieces of plant/equipment to carry out their duties (grader, roller, tipper truck and a water truck) and any additional licences or competencies to operate the relevant plant/equipment paired with the below listed skills, experience and qualifications would be desirable.
About you
Ideally you will have demonstrated similar relevant experience maintaining or working with civil infrastructure and experience leading small operational teams.
Paired with the above mentioned skills and experience, you will also possess a current truck licence (minimum medium rigid - MR) and a Construction Induction card. You will also either hold or be willing to obtain a Traffic Management Implementation licence and a high risk work dogging (HRW DG) licence within 6 months of commencement. It would be considered desirable if you have completed a Certificate III in Civil Construction or another relevant field but not mandatory, though the qualification will be mandatory to progress through the Crew Leader Framework.
