Criminal Law Lawclerk/Paralegal

Bannisters Lawyers is a Sydney boutique law firm practising exclusively in Criminal Law.

We are seeking a part -time clerk/paralegal/legal assistant to join our team. Full -time can also be considered. Studying law is not a prerequisite but preferred. Experience working in law also preferred but not essential.

Duties Include:

• Reception style tasks - answering phones, sending emails, typing and staffing the front desk
• Photocopying/scanning
• Maintaining file registers
• General office duties 
• Filing documents.
• Calendar management.
• Taking notes in conferences with solicitors and barristers. 
• Preparing briefs for counsel/delivering briefs
• Reviewing evidence
• Assisting solicitors
• Once established, court appearances before Registrars

Availability: 2+ days a week, with 3 days preferred:
