The Opportunity
As a CSIRT Practice Lead this role will spearhead innovative strategies to fortify UniSuper cybersecurity defences and protect our Members, driving proactive threat detection and incident response in a progressive environment.
About you
We will look for your support and experience to assist in acting as the bridge between the cyber security team and the wider service delivery teams to ensure security is incorporated into all aspects of operations. Lead the CSIRT Practice and supporting the team of security analysts, threat hunters and incident responders. Help develop and shape and improve the CSIRT practice, tools, systems, and processes.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Undertake security event and incident response activities without necessity for managerial coordination, on behalf of the InfoSec leadership team.
- Identify and analyse security issues across multiple environments, assessing if/how they will affect the network and operating environment and prepare how, where and when we need to onboard and improve the relevant security monitoring and incident management processes.
- Contribute to the full range of corporate technology, information management and security support tasks (e.g., audit and event log interrogation) to ensure minimum risk to UniSuper Member information.
- Champion a DevOps security model so that security is automated and adaptable across all platforms.
- Contribute to the delivery of multiple cyber security focussed projects and consult on wider service delivery projects to ensure appropriate risk-based security outcomes.
We're passionate about knowledge and sharing it amongst our members and our employees, therefore we believe that a balance of working from home and time in office is the best way to collaborate and build relationships with your colleagues. We ask you to be able to commit to 60% of your time in office.
Think Great. Create Great.
