About Ipswich Day Hospital
Ipswich Day Hospital is a multi-disciplinary purpose-built day surgery facility, conveniently located in the Medical Centre at 10 Churchill Street Ipswich. The Ipswich Day Hospital’s philosophy is to provide quality surgical care in a relaxed, professional, and caring environment.
We are seeking CSSD Technician, with experience in Endoscopy Cleaning to join us on a casual/part-time basis.
As an CSSD Technician you will be required to clean, disinfect, and sterilize equipment used for patient care. The role rotates through our CSSD and Endoscopy department.
To be successful in your application for this position, you will have:
- A knowledge of the principles of disinfection and sterilisation standards desirable
- A high level of efficiency & accuracy
- Knowledge of and adherence to safe work practices
- The ability to manage time and workflow within a multi-disciplinary team
- Process excellent communication skills
- Be computer literate
- An enthusiastic approach in the delivery of high standard of care
Essential criteria
- Certificate III in Sterilization Services or equivalent qualification desirable or willing to undertake CSSD Technician training
- Experience with cleaning Endoscopes and/or Cystoscopes
