Customer Care Representative

Barossa Veterinary Service is seeking a customer service professional who is driven by the desire to deliver a positive and memorable experience. We are not a ‘normal’ place to work! This is someone who:

Can demonstrate attention to detail, warmth, and a genuine passion for the human-animal bond
This is a part time position of 25-30 hours per week.
Core responsibilities:
Providing administrative support for our clients with patient bookings, pet insurance claims, prescription management, client orders and general enquiries
Being responsible, (with a co-worker), for managing phone lines and always greeting clients warmly and respectfully
Maintaining waiting room and merchandise displays
Assisting with patient follow up and client support
Maintaining our high standards of greeting clients, answering phones, and meeting the needs of patients and their humans in the waiting room
Skills and experience required:
Experience in a Customer Service or Reception/Administration role
Proven ability to work well in a busy environment
Ability to interact with people in a professional, confidential and compassionate manner
Willingness and ability to go above and beyond to deliver a memorable and positive customer experience
Exceptional communication skills with a focus on people and their individual needs
High level of accuracy and attention to detail and ability to follow processes
Excellent digital competency across multiple online platforms and devices
Previous experience in in the Veterinary or Healthcare/Medical industries is preferred
Capability to discuss financial matters in a compassionate way
Ability to calmly and effectively solve problems
