This is an ideal role for an experienced professional with automotive insurance or repair industry experience.
Our client is a successful and growing wholesale automotive parts supply business headquartered in Sydney with offices in Brisbane and Melbourne. They operate in vehicle collision repair, wholesale, mechanical workshops, and the broader automotive trade.
As part of their business expansion, they are appointing a Customer Relationship Manager to work with their clients and internal delivery team to manage and build business relationships to maintain existing business and to identify and develop new business opportunities.
An essential part of the business, the Customer Relationship Manager will deal with a range of clients, including key clients (repairers), varied work providers such as insurance companies, franchise operators and fleet companies and the internal delivery team to create great customer outcomes.
The role will see you:
Maintaining and building client relationships, promoting the brand, products, and service deliverables with a focus on identifying and onboarding new business opportunities.
Liaising with insurance companies and repairers and supporting the internal customer service team to solve problems and find the best solutions for our clients.
Proactively and positively building and maintaining value-add relationships with customers at all levels.
Attending and participating in regular sales meetings and training sessions.
Attending relevant market trade evenings and or shows to represent the brand.
Key attributes and skills for the role:
Experience in dealing with the collision repair industry. This may be through experience in insurance assessing, as a senior parts interpreter, working in the industry as an estimator or a production manager or previous sales/account management with collision repairers.
Knowledge of vehicle parts and repair processes and experience dealing with motor vehicle repairers or insurers is highly desirable.
Experience in providing customer service along with a strong appreciation of its importance in business.
Strong communication skills, including negotiating, creating solutions, and maintaining positive relationships.
Confidence in dealing with a diverse range of customers.
The ability to resolve customer concerns and disputes.
Good computer skills, including experience in using a range of information systems.
Proactivity and drive to get the work done but also to have fun!
The Remuneration
Remuneration will be negotiated to take into consideration your qualifications and experience. The role provides a fully maintained motor vehicle.
