Customer Service, Administration Assistant

Pirtek Oil & Gas Pty Ltd is a key supplier of hose, hose fittings, hose protection products, hose assemblies, and hose management services to all levels of the Oil and Gas Industry. We also have the largest and widest capabilities of any hose company in Australia with state-of-the-art equipment and training programs and seek the services of a compatible team member to support the expectations of our top tier 1 clientele.

We are seeking a new team member who is eager to learn all aspects of the Hose industry working within the Oil & Gas Industry and be part of the Pirtek Group 

• You will be responsible for providing quality and efficient service to our customers
• Assist our sales team with converting Quotes to Sales
• Develop product knowledge 
• Order products from Local and International Vendors 
• Proactively manage requirements of customer and vendor accounts in an accurate and timely manner to maintain our attentive service.
• Assist administration with data entry (Including review and electronic filing of customer and vendor documentation)
• Work closely with our sales and operation teams to maintain a high level of Customer Service
• Contribute to production and sales meetings 

To be successful in this role you will possess the following attributes:

• Experience in an Office environment
• Some Excel Skills for Analysis, Integration with other platforms
• Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information
• Ability to prioritise multiple tasks,  to meet deadlines consistently
• Process-orientated, self-motivated, and a strong team player
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
• Effective communication skills with all stakeholders
• A desire to learn new skills and work within a small team environment 

Desirable attributes:

• Exposure to NATA, ISO, AS, EN, and API standards.
• Worked with inventory: ordering, receipting, stock-takes
• Experience in the hose & fitting industry is looked upon favourably
• Used Syteline or EPR system
• Please note: Permanent residency status is essential.
