Smart Recycling/Smart Pallets specializes in timber and pallet recycling, dedicated to reducing waste and producing value-added recycled products. With depots in Dandenong South, Epping, and Brooklyn, we're committed to sustainability and operational excellence.
An exciting opportunity awaits a dynamic and outgoing candidate to join our team, where every individual plays a crucial role in our daily operations and overall business success.
THE ROLE
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Providing a friendly and professional first impression for sales enquiries, directing calls/emails appropriately
- Processing customer sales orders through our CRM
- Attending to all front counter interactions, ensuring customer, supplier, and visitor needs are met
- Coordinating orders for custom-made items with production
- Verifying stock availability prior to order
- Scheduling delivery/collection of orders
- Managing CRM database and daily upkeep
- Processing customer cash and credit card payments
- Generating quotations and daily filing
- Printing daily driver runs and delivery dockets
- End of Month tasks as required
- Other general admin and accounts tasks as required
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
To succeed in this role, you must demonstrate:
- Exceptional attention to detail and focus
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time management skills within a team setting
- Proficiency in computer software and data management systems
- PLEASE NOTE: We will be transitioning to a new CRM system in the coming months, so a willingness to learn various systems and adapt to new software is essential
- Adaptability and the ability to think on your feet
- Experience with Xero is advantageous but not essential
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Flexibility and adaptability in work practices
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
