Our administration team at Fastrac Foodservice requires an enthusiastic team player who thrives in a busy office environment. You will need to have exceptional communication skills, an eye for detail and excellent administrative & computer skills.
Fastrac Foodservice is a family owned and operated, service orientated food wholesaler to the hospitality industry. We operate out of purpose built facilities in Somerville (3912) and Preston (3072) Victoria. We pride ourselves on our industry leading Customer Service. This role will be based at our Somerville office.
The key responsibilities include:
- Direct dealings with customers and suppliers either by telephone or electronically.
- Processing customer orders and special requests.
- Prompt response and resolution to customer inquiries.
- Coordinate with other team members and departments.
- Trouble shooting issues and coordinating the appropriate strategy.
- Assisting in accounts and general administration.
To be successful in this position, you will need experience in an administrative or customer focused role and will have the following skills:
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills – verbal and written.
- Strong computer knowledge and skills – Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good work ethic and time management skills.
- Ability to show initiative, take ownership and work independently.
- Experience in accounts would be an advantage but not essential.
