The Melbourne Cricket Club has the public responsibility of managing one of the largest and the most successful stadiums in Australia and the world – the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). The MCG is host to more than 70 major events annually, attracting over three million patrons and visitors. Exceptional Customer Service plays a crucial role in providing a memorable experience to all visitors.
To assist us to showcase the MCG at its finest, we are looking for enthusiastic Customer Service professionals who are friendly, warm and welcoming ambassadors that are passionate about the MCG, Melbourne and our sporting culture.
To be successful in this role, it is essential that you have:
- A passion for creating and delivering great Customer Service
- A genuine interest in looking after our guests
- Previous experience providing excellent service
- High quality verbal communication skills and high standards of personal presentation
- The ability to work in a range of locations across the stadium
To ensure the MCC can meet its staffing requirements for every event, it is essential that you can meet all of the following requirements:
- Be available to work a minimum of 30 events offered during the calendar year (1st January – 31st December) inclusive of eight (8) Marquee events. These events are outlined in the Availability for Work and Rostering Policy & Procedure document which is reviewed annually.
- Are over the age of 18 before 30 June 2024.
- Be available to attend a face to face 20 min interview at the MCG on Wednesday 5 June 2024 (at a time between 2:30pm to 5:30pm).
- Be available to attend a mid-week induction and training session on Thursday 18 July 2024 (from 5:30pm to 7:30pm)
