Due to continual company growth and the December 2022 acquisition of a beverage manufacturing plant in Perth, we have a NEW role for a Customer Service Coordinator to be based locally at our Wangara plant, reporting through to our QLD Head Office team.
About the RoleThe Customer Service team is involved in the end-to-end order process, coordinating with a variety of stakeholders such as production, warehouse, and logistics. You'll be responsible for ensuring client orders are managed professionally and promptly. This isn't a traditional phone-based Customer Service or call centre position - you'll answer a maximum of 10 calls a day and spend the rest of your time working hard behind the scenes in an operations capacity, and liaising via email, managing a very busy shared-inbox.
This full-time position is based in Wangara, and we are seeking a professional and energetic person with the ability to think on their feet, work autonomously, and use initiative to problem solve.
Reporting to the National Customer Service Manager, you'll be responsible for:
- Account management of customers – stock management, delivery, order processing, follow ups, communication.
- Handling customer disputes impacting their deliveries or orders.
- Liaise with all relevant departments in relation to achieving delivery dates.
- Monitor customer supply and report on trends and impact.
- Scrupulous attention to detail that ensures accuracy in dealing with information and resolving customer queries.
- Communicate with key customers on supply.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage customer supply accordingly.
- Strong organizational skills that consistently deliver a high standard while managing and coordinating a high volume of simultaneous and at times conflicting tasks.
- Invoicing customers when required.
- Manage and strengthen customer relationships.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the business and its products.
- Conduct sales calls when required.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience within a Customer Support or high-volume Customer Service centered administration role.
- Proven self-starter with the ability to work independently with a proactive approach to achieving KPI’s.
- Remains calm in escalated customer interactions.
- Adaptability and flexibility - demonstrates a pragmatic approach to getting the job done and at ease working in a constantly growing and evolving organization.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Detail oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work within a team environment & autonomously with minimal direction.
- Sound knowledge of the Oracle ERP/CRM program.
- Minimum Intermediate level with Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook.
- FMCG Manufacturing industry experience an advantage.
