The Opportunity
Based in the rolling green hills of Maleny QLD, we have a fantastic opportunity available for a Customer Service and Despatch Officer to join the Maleny Dairies team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate would have experience in receiving orders from multiple customer segments (distributors, third-party logistics providers, MSO, SSO, catering, local business) and be familiar with DC and cold storage FMCG operations.
The role will be responsible for:
• Receiving and processing of incoming orders from multiple customer segments.
• Verifying and maintaining customer records.
• Updating customer segments on order status.
• Coordination of despatch schedules with the distribution and logistics team.
• Recording of damaged and returned stock.
• Responding to customer problems or complaints.
• Managing administrative activities associated with the role.
• Compiling sales data for reports and trend analysis.
• Calculation and reporting of both financial and operational data.
• Provision of information to key stakeholders
Required Skills and Experience
• 5+ years’ experience in a similar role receiving orders from multiple customer segments.
• Must have exceptional digital skills and demonstrated experience using MYOB Advanced or a similar ERP/CRM.
• Familiarity with 3PL and DC distribution models.
• Excellent communication skills, with a customer-oriented mindset.
• High attention to detail.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Ability to problem solve.
• Willingness to follow all instructions and adhere to OH&S and company policies.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
Working Hours:
• Tuesday to Saturday 38 hours per week.
