Seeking an Outstanding Customer Service officer who may have experience in exportation of goods for a FMCG company
Seeking a Customer Service representative for a leading Australian Milling and Manufacturer based in Tennyson. Position will be a cross between basic reception tasks and Selling/Upselling of goods to clients/ prospective clients. It will be based onsite in their admin building.
At this stage we are offering a 6-month temporary assignment with potential to extend. Hours of work are set to be Monday to Friday 7am -3pm.
Duties of the role include:
- Processing of customer orders and enquires effectively and efferently.
- Handle sales opportunities, via customer telephone and email enquiry's
- Identify alternate product opportunities for customers as they are spoken to and perform selling of products.
- Maintaining calls to customers as per call schedule
- Ensure customer complaints are handled in a timely manner.
- Ensure data is maintained accurately.
- Support the Account Manager and Customer Service Manager by providing regular input on all account activity, reporting on customer interactions, including status and call reports on a weekly basis.
- Previous Customer Service experience minimum 3 years
- Excellent telephone and Customer Service technique
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Proven ability to adapt and improvise with problem solving and good negotiation skills
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well within a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office/ SAP
- Experience in the food or beverage industry would be an advantage.
- Great multitasking, organizational and priority management skills
