ANZCO Bioscience have an opportunity for a 6-month contract position Service Desk Analyst to join the team based out our Brisbane, Bulimba facility. After a 6 month contract a suitable candidate may be offered a permanent full-time position. The purpose of this position will be to support ANZCO Bioscience to deliver on the ANZCO Foods IT Services in the Australian operations (Bovogen Biologicals and Moregate Biotech), and to deliver quality IT support to the business units in Australia.
The role requires domestic interstate travel when required in support of Bovogen in Melbourne. There will also be a requirement for some international travel to New Zealand, so a valid passport and the ability to travel will be essential.
A day in the life…….
- Provide a single point of contact for all technology queries from across the ANZCO Bioscience Group, giving advice, troubleshooting, and facilitating the rapid restoration of normal technology services.
- Provide first-level technical support to end-users, addressing hardware, software, network, printers, and application-related issues. This may involve phone, email, or in-person support.
- Manage the desktop and mobile device hardware, operating systems, and applications.
- Provide fleet and device management, roll out upgrades and protection (e.g. antivirus).
- Incident Management, priorities, resolve, or escalate incidents within agreed time frames.
- User Account Management and maintenance
- Working with ANZCO Foods IT team to support the integration of networks and hardware and ongoing best practice post integration.
- Dealing with suppliers to ensure best IT solutions for the business in a timely manner.
- Engage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on projects.
- Training end users around IT security and rolling out of IT policies and procedures in line with group expectations.
- Maintaining the satisfaction of our end users by providing a great end user experience.
- Guide users through solutions or escalate issues to the appropriate IT support teams.
- Proactively engage with other business units to resolve issues and streamline user experience.
About you
- You must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident at the time of application.
- Formal IT qualification from a recognized tertiary institution or demonstrated equivalent skills and experience.
- Have a balance of technical skills and people skills.
- Experience administrating Microsoft 365 solutions.
- Database management such as MRP Easy, Google Suite Administration,
- Experience with diagnostic and help request tracking tools.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-centric mindset
- Ability to lift and transport moderately heavy objects for hardware-related tasks.
- Attention-to-detail: conscientious in developing clear and concise documentation.
- Experience managing websites and migrating from one host to another.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team and with minimal supervision.
