An amazing opportunity to join an industry leading food manufacturer based in Melbourne's northern suburbs. This dynamic role is pivotal to the organisation, handling logistics, planning and production responsibilities to ensure both external and internal stakeholders are duly satisfied. The successful applicant will lead the Customer Service team of three, and oversee all internal and external customer order & dispatch requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring stock movements and responding to any queries regarding stock movements and deliveries
- Overseeing all inbound and outbound orders
- Handling of small amount of export orders, custom clearances and associated documentation (NZ)
- Shipment & dispatch planning inclusive of 3PL / freight requirements
- Constant liaison with sales, production and demand teams to provide customers with up to date and accurate information and ensure DIFOT KPI's are met
- Food/FMCG experience essential
- Experience in a manufacturing environment highly desired
- Exceptional communication and administrative skills
- Highly organised - the ability to multitask and prioritise
- Proactive, can-do attitude - inquisitive, adaptive and bubbly
- High level understanding/experience in warehouse management/inbound or outbound freight movement
- Critical attention to detail
- A strong leader
