But did you know we have 23 divisions, 135 sites nationally, employ nearly 3000 people and operate a fleet of over 2300?

We do more than collect the bin from your street, we also convert waste into clean energy, divert food waste from landfill and convert to compost, manufacture customised waste management equipment, asbestos removal, refine and recycle oil, manage and maintain our fleet inhouse and have our own bespoke technology systems.

Our teams include Drivers/Operators, Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Customer Service, Operations, Finance, IT/Digital, Environment, Engineering, Industrial Chemists, Safety, Administration and much more . . .

ABOUT THIS ROLE

As a JJ’s Customer Service Manager, you will lead a team that prides itself on delivering Customer Centric excellence to our large commercial customer base.  Your team also plays a vital role in supporting our depot operations across the Victorian METRO and Southern region from our Dandenong South office.  

You will have the ability to learn quickly and demonstrate a willingness to undertake any task at hand, have excellent problem solving and time management, plus demonstrated high level Customer Service skills.

We are an essential services industry, offering stability to employees and reliability to our customers.

This position is permanent and full-time Monday to Friday.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead our Customer Service team in Dandenong South
  • Monitor workflow through telephone queues, email and other business systems
  • Manage escalations and ensure the departments KPI’s are met
  • Identify and execute opportunities regarding efficiency and productivity improvements in your team
  • Develop, execute, and monitor individual comprehensive training plans
  • Ensure professional Customer Service to both internal and external customers 
  • Ability to prioritise and perform duties in a fast paced and varied role
  • Work proactively with other department supervisors and managers to ensure customer satisfaction, increased efficiency, and business results 
  • Display excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills

ABOUT YOU

  • Customer Service / Call Centre experience is essential 
  • Must have experience in a similar role – including high-volume customer support- as a people Leader
  • Excellent data entry skills and an eye for detail
  • Able to work well within a team and autonomously
  • Track record of developing and driving continuous improvement
  • Able to work unsupervised or as part of a team; sharing your knowledge with others
  • Flexibility, with a willingness to undertake a wide variety of tasks and duties
  • Experience in transport, logistics or service industry - highly regarded but not essential
  • Want to be part of a culture of learning and continuous improvement
  • Be dedicated and reliable; we are an essential service industry
