About Us: My client is a leading firm in the engineering industry, specializing in high precision engineered and power transmission products to customers worldwide. They are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Customer Service Manager to join the team and lead the Customer Service department.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Customer Service Manager you will be responsible for:
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage a team of 2-3 direct reports within the Customer Service department.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven team environment, ensuring high morale and productivity.
- Customer Service Excellence:
- Oversee and enhance the overall Customer Service experience, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Develop and implement strategies to meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Internal Sales Management:
- Drive internal sales initiatives, working closely with the sales team to meet revenue targets.
- Utilize your solid sales experience to identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within existing client relationships.
- Process Improvement:
- Evaluate and optimize Customer Service processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implement best practices and standards to ensure a streamlined and customer-centric approach.
- Pricing and Reports:
- Ensure accurate and current pricing for all products within Pronto
- Prepare special price proposals and update them in Pronto
- Maintain the price increase register and draft letters
- Update price levels and fixed price schedules in Pronto
- Adjust sales order pricing accordingly
- Proven experience in a managerial role, overseeing a Customer Service team.
- Solid background in Customer Service and internal sales, preferably in an industrial equipment or similar industry.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Results-oriented with a focus on achieving revenue targets.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and other relevant tools.
