About this Position
As a Customer Service Manager, you will lead our busy internal sales team of 7 to provide an exceptional level of service to a wide variety of customers based in NSW and QLD. You will drive a positive culture, best practice processes and strong customer relationships by leading and supporting your team and all internal sales operations.
Day-to-day you will answer phone and email enquiries, process orders and provide innovative solutions for your customers to meet their needs. You will also oversee local Samples requirements for customers, facilitated by the NSW Samples Coordinator. You will work closely with other teams such as External Sales, Warehouse and Supply to support timely and accurate ordering and delivery of customer goods.
Working in our Chullora office (relocating to Erskine Park from August), you will report to the General Manager- Print & Packaging. You will be required to work Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, with rostered shifts falling between 8am and 6pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day to day operations for the NSW Internal Sales
- Oversight of NSW Samples and administrative tasks
- Directly manage a team of 7
- Maintain and improve best practice processes within the team
- Act as a key contact, or escalation point, for key accounts and customer concerns
- Receive and respond to customer enquiries via phone and email
- Provide direction to customers on our products and services
- Process orders in SAP, check stock availability and where required suggest alternative products
- Reinforce a strong site culture through social and wellbeing initiatives
- Build and maintain excellent knowledge of Spicers’ product ranges
- Focus on and support sales of ageing stock
- Liaise with external sales and warehouse teams to ensure service levels are achieved
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in a Customer Service or sales role
- Prior experience supervising or managing employees
- Experience in the print, design, packaging, signage or label industry (highly desirable)
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office products, e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook
- Experience using SAP (desirable)
- Effective time-management skills
- Drive, energy and a willingness to learn
