The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Customer Service Officer to join our team, reporting to the Customer Service Manager you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships by exceeding customer expectations of service in line with the company values and procedures.
Your key accountabilities will include:
- Acknowledgement and entry of customer orders communicated by telephone, email & EDI
- Take and direct calls from the Customer Service telephone queue
- Maintain positive relationships with all customers
- Support the Sales team by providing information/assistance as required
- Liaise with relevant internal departments to resolve customer account queries & issues
- Liaise with relevant departments regarding stock availability and delivery
- Manage the customer's expectations and reduce unexpected delivery delays
About You
You will have previous experience in a similar role with an open and personable style that enables you to effectively engage and relate to stakeholders both internally and externally. You will have gained your experience and delivered great Customer Service in either in a contact centre environment or part of an internal Customer Service team. You will be a great communicator both written & verbal and a customer focussed approach over the phone. You are a problem solver and have exemplary skills when managing customer complaints.
