About the role
As part of the Customer Service Officer team, you will be the face of Parks Victoria to greet visitors. Part of your daily responsibilities will be assisting customers in their enquiries, checking in guests staying in the park, campground patrols, answering incoming calls and responding to emails. You will have the opportunity to work at different work locations within the park, including the visitor centre and general store in Tidal River, Yanakie entrance station and the Wilsons Promontory Light station. You will be required to walk long distances to get to the sites and stay overnight for multiple nights. As a Customer Service Officer, you will provide a high level of housekeeping of the cottages and conduct lighthouse tours.
We're looking for someone with:
- Experience in the provision of quality Customer service.
- Knowledge of the Victorian parks estate is desirable
- Demonstrated working knowledge of booking systems, CRM software and customer databases is highly desirable
