Hays Office Support are currently seeking a Customer Service Officer for a well-known Tasmanian organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to join their team & assist with Customer Service requirements at the front desk. The role will require full-time hours and will be offered as an ongoing temporary position, with an immediate start date.
Your new role
Based in the northern suburbs of Hobart, our client is an organisation that focusses on providing essential services for Tasmania and building trust with colleagues and clients. As the Customer Service Officer, you will be responsible for assisting the public with face-to-face enquiries, over-the-counter payments, and visitors entering the premises. You will provide administrative support for all front desk requirements and assist vulnerable members of the public from a variety of demographics. If you are interested in a high-level Customer Service role and have experience in this field, this is the job for you!
What you'll need to succeed
To be the successful applicant, you'll have demonstrated experience working in a Customer Service position. In addition, you will have:
Outstanding communication skills
Proven capacity to work in a confidential manner
High attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly nature
High level proficiency in Microsoft 365
