Randstad are currently seeking an experienced Administrator to work within local council.
The successful candidate will be a strong, experienced administrative and secretarial candidate, interested in a variety of roles, ranging from Administration Officers, Business Support Officers, Receptionists, Customer Service and other secretarial based roles.
Your typical duties will include:
- Providing administrative support to the departments within local council;
- Maintaining records and information databases
- Customer service (both in person and on phone)
- Diary management, travel arrangements and ad hoc team administration;
- Preparing written correspondence and sorting mail;
- Record, prepare and distribute meeting minutes;
- Data entry
To be successful, you will possess:
- Previous work experience within local council
- Administration experience;
- Great communication and Customer Service skills- both verbal and written;
- Intermediate to Advanced MS Office skills;
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work autonomously to prioritise workload and achieve deadlines in a busy environment
