About the role
As the Customer Service Officer, you will deliver in-park services as directed by the Manager to enable efficient and effective delivery of Customer Services in accordance with the Commercial Operations Plan. As the Customer Service Officer you may perform the following tasks: answer incoming calls and emails and assist customers in their enquiries, create further interest in the Parks Victoria services by informing customers/public of other information and services, update databases with contact and enquiry information and process accommodation and camping bookings for Banksia Bluff Accommodation and Campground. Occasionally you will be required to handle calls from customers regarding emergency situations in parks. You will need to provide a high level of personalised Customer Service, ensuring all customer enquiries are resolved satisfactorily and conflicts are resolved sensitively.
We are looking for someone with:
- Certificate or Diploma in tourism, business, retail or equivalent experience in a similar field.
- Ability to self-manage, with strong Customer Service, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Sales and cash handling skills
- Working knowledge of the internet and computer software
