The opportunity
We are seeking an enthusiastic Customer Service professional to join our team with a passion for customers based at our Dandenong South manufacturing site.
This role is part-time with the flexibility to work either Monday to Thursday 8am to 4pm or Monday to Friday 9am to 3pm.
You will have responsibility for helping to deliver our customer experience promise by proactively and professionally partnering with our customers to fulfil their enquiries, working together to find new solutions and ensuring orders are managed in a timely and accurate manner to meet customer needs and operations capability. To do this you will be recognised by customers for your service excellence.
Joining an experienced Customer Service, national sales and marketing team you will be accountable for helping to develop and enhance professional relationships with customers, by proactively assisting them in their interactions with Oceania Glass. Being a local manufacturer, our key asset is our relationships with customers in Australia and New Zealand and in your role, you join a team this is critical to representing our company and its values.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with customers, developing an insightful understanding of their business and proactively assisting them in their interactions with Oceania Glass.
- Assist customers with stock enquiries, product information, coordination of deliveries and other enquiries, whilst managing order fulfilment
- Support Customer Service and sales initiatives that will ensure the achievement of sales and profitability objectives
- Work closely with sales, planning and operations to communicate and meet customer’s needs
- Understand customer needs and ensure our service is renowned for being professional, courteous, and communicated in a way that enable customers to be successful with Oceania Glass.
Skills & Experience
- You will show a capability to be a self-starter, enthusiastic and motivated by meeting customer’s needs
- At least 3 years’ experience in Customer Service and/or sales in a B2B environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop strong and trusted relationships with customers and colleagues
- Experience in using SAP will be well regarded
