We are looking for someone to :
- Facilitate physical bullion sales and purchases (including unwanted gold jewellery), ensuring accuracy and compliance with company procedures and legislation to minimise risk to the Mint, including generating client bullion contracts.
- Develop comprehensive bullion knowledge to ensure exemplary and tailored Customer Service provision.
- Comply with AML/CTF Legislation and Second-Hand Dealers Act.
- Review and verify client identification and ask for source of wealth information as required by Risk.
- Identify clients who try to avoid KYC requirements by trying to conduct repetitive transactions under the ID threshold.
- Resolve disputes and manage difficult clients, particularly with regards AML/Second-Hand Dealers Compliance.
- Assess and test bullion and unwanted gold jewellery for authenticity and purity using an XRF machine prior to purchasing.
- Comply with Personal Identifiable Information and Data Security policies and procedures (including adding client credit card details onto Westpac Payway to ensure customers credit cards are securely stored).
- Assist with checking daily bullion purchases before settlements are authorised
- Facilitate client collections for bullion – including Click & Collect and other collections
- Understand Depository investment platforms and cross-sell where applicable.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as archiving, records management, responding to emails and Customer Service-related tasks.
- Ensure own safety and health at work and avoid adversely affecting the safety or health of any other person through any act or omission at work.
We are looking for someone who has :
- Customer Service Experience
- Demonstrated administration and computer skills
- Knowledge of AML / CTF
- Availability to work weekdays and weekends
