Customer Service Officer

Public Sector People are currently inviting applications for experienced Customer Service Officers to join a Council in the Northeastern Suburbs.

Position: Customer Service Officer
Duration: ASAP start - 12 weeks with the potential to extend
Location: Local Council Northeastern Suburbs
Rate: $34.79 per hour + Super

Key Responsibilities:

• To provide excellent first-point-of-contact service to customers contacting the Council.
• To contribute to the award-winning Customer Service Team, by providing responsive, accessible, accurate and reliable service in line with community expectations, and reflecting best practice standards.
• To liaise with other departments to identify opportunities for on-going improvement in the provision of internal and external Customer Service.

Essential Criteria:

• Customer Service experience
• Ability to engage empathetically with customers with emotionally charged issues would be highly regarded.
• Local government experience
