Customer Service Officer - Transport Scheduler

The Customer Service Officer - Transport Scheduler role is to meet Elgas’ business plan objectives whilst ensuring maximum customer satisfaction.

Additional responsibilities in this role also include:

• As the main point of contact with Swap n Go customers, you will be establishing accounts, processing customer enquiries, orders, payments and advising customers on usage and delivery 
• Supporting operations and the sales teams to ensure Customer Service expectations are exceeded
• Responsibility for planning, scheduling and communicating with drivers to ensure daily deliveries are being met
• Completing and ensuring all driver paperwork is collected and completed daily
• Undertaking activities required to aid achievement of Elgas's business plan objectives

Skills and experience we are looking for:

• Previous experience in office administration and have a passion for Customer Service
• Excellent communication via email and phone
• Collaborative teamwork and the ability to work independently
• Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office 365
• Scheduling experience although not essential - preferable 
• Experience in the transport industry, dispute resolution or the energy market will be highly regarded
• Due to location the successful candidate must have their own transport
