Schots Home Emporium have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and dynamic Customer Service Specialist, with a passion for interior design and Customer Service, to join the Clifton Hill Team in eCommerce!

About the role
- The eCommerce & Customer Service Specialist is responsible for meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
- Handling Customer Service, phone calls and emails
- Answering incoming calls; taking messages and re-directing calls as required
- Online Order Processing and dispatching
- Handling responses to product reviews and establishing ways to bolster good reviews on all platforms
- Assist with eCommerce activities and set up of new processes
- Data entry
- Communicating and leading by example in promoting effective working practices and being a champion of change.
- Understand individual customer needs and deliver a personalised experience.
- Web chat
- Preparing quotations and sales orders through web enquiries.
- After sales service, resolution and customer follow ups via Zendesk.
- Going above and beyond to provide exceptional customer focused problem solving.
- Resolve customer complaints and make good and timely decisions to ensure happy customers.
About You
- Minimum 2 years Customer Service experience - training will be provided on products/systems
- Ability to service your customers while managing work tasks around their needs.
- A passion for providing exceptional Customer Service.
- An interest in interior design or architectural products.
- A team player with a positive attitude.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Incredible organisation skills to be able to juggle multiple requests and tasks.
- Willingness to learn eCommerce platforms and website backends needed to perform your job.
- A Calm, patient and positive demeanour to handle customer queries.
- Quick-witted to make in-the-moment smart Customer Service decisions.
- Willingness to learn and grow your skills.
- Intermediate computer skills.
- Technical or trades background with knowledge in any of the following, hardware, lighting, furniture, plumbing highly advantageous.
- Experience with Magento, NetSuite, Zendesk highly advantageous.
