About the Role:
Firerite Services is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Specialist to join our dynamic Service Department. This role offers the chance to be at the forefront of Customer Service in a rapidly evolving industry. As part of our digital transformation, you will be instrumental in streamlining processes and enhancing customer satisfaction. Reporting to the Service Coordinator, being overseen and working with the Marketing & Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in delivering Customer Service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for our service customers, including facility and building managers, government staff, and business owners, ensuring a professional and friendly interaction.
- Manage all incoming communications effectively, focusing on emails and calls to maintain the professional voice of our business.
- Oversee the centralised Service Department email, processing work orders, quote requests, client inquiries, and scheduling. Coordinate with subcontracting teams and our Field Technician team to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Utilise job management systems such as Firemate, Uptick, AroFlo, and Asana to maintain data integrity and streamline task and process management.
- Produce detailed reports to support compliance and customer related needs.
- Issue purchase orders, prepare service maintenance quotes, and perform ad-hoc administrative tasks as required.
- Any adhoc administration responsibilities
About You:
- Proven experience in Customer Service, ideally within the fire protection industry or similar technical fields.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage large volumes of emails and calls.
- Competency in using job management software and tools; experience with Firemate, Uptick, or AroFlo is highly advantageous.
- A knack for problem-solving and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work effectively in both team settings and independently.
- Driven and proactive, with a commitment to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
