Job description
The position offered is flexible; part-time preferred (ideally, 3 days per week but negotiable). The position is Brisbane-based in our Kenmore office. We sell dental devices and are looking for a passionate Customer Service specialist to join our small but welcoming team. Training is provided, but optician assisting or experience in the dental industry is a plus.
Ultimately, a successful Customer Service Specialist will ensure the efficient and smooth operation of our Customer Service platform. Working as part of a team, duties include but are not limited to-
Duties
- Shared responsibility for our Customer Service platform
- Answering email queries
- Assisting customers with troubleshooting virtually or in person
- Helping to adjust and fit customer loupes (dental magnifying devices) as needed
- Sending and coordinating postage and inventory for replacement items as needed; coordinating postage for faulty items to return to supplier
- Other duties from time to time as required, including administrative cover
Requirements
- Essential – a passion for Customer Service
- Experience within the optical or dental industry highly regarded
- Practical skills or interests in fitting devices/frames or dental equipment a plus
- Proven experience in Customer Service, Sales, Administrative Assistant, Optician assistant or similar
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise work and work independently
- Attention to detail, flexibility and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Good familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
- Past experience with CRM systems a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work as a part of a team
