About the role
We have multiple contact centre opportunities available for highly energetic and customer centric individuals who can provide exceptional phone-based service for our internal and external stakeholders with regards to general loan product queries and loan requirements.
Whether you are an experienced contact centre professional or wanting to kick-start your financial services journey, this role is a perfect opportunity to develop your customer service skills in a small and supportive team environment for a reputable family-owned non-bank lender.
Key Duties
- Handle inbound phone calls, emails and online chat queries for our borrowers and provide accurate in-depth assistance with Firstmac products including home loans, auto loans and term deposits;
- Deliver prompt and professional solutions, to ensure customers have a thorough understanding of our service offering;
- Ensure solutions are delivered and customer expectations are met;
- Identify and refer retention opportunities to our specialist consultants for ultimate maximisation of our customer retention;
- Always comply with various industry legislation, regulations, and company policy; and
- Continually ensure accurate call history data entry is inputted into the system and maintained.
Please note our Contact Centre team work on a rotating roster operating between the hours of 7am to 7pm Monday to Friday and we can offer some work-from-home flexibility once you are successfully trained. This means no weekend for you!
About you
Previous contact centre experience within the financial sector would be ideal. However, if you are a driven individual who possess a strong work ethic and keen for a challenge in 2024 and beyond this opportunity will provide you with ongoing training and support to ensure your continual success and development in financial services Customer Care.
Skills and experience required
- Phone and or in-person based customer service experience within a fast paced office environment or service industry;
- Experience across banking and finance, ideally lending – a tier 2 accreditation would be highly regarded;
- Strong communication skills with a focus on providing the best Customer Care experience possible;
- Problem solving and conflict resolution abilities; and
- Strong attention to detail that will enable you to pass on information with clarity and accuracy.
