Responsibilities of the role:
The primary responsibility of the Customer Service Supervisor role is to guide a team of Customer Service agents in consistently surpassing the service delivery expectations of Swissport's clients (airlines) and their customers, ensuring safety, efficiency, and reliability on a daily basis. Each Customer Service Supervisor will oversee the accomplishment of key objectives for their assigned shift/clients and collaborate closely with peers to achieve the overall goals of the Customer Service team. Crucially, Customer Service Supervisors serve as cultural ambassadors and exemplars for the company, showcasing and guiding others in upholding the company's culture and aligning with its strategic direction.
Applicants should be at ease with working on a rotating roster covering Monday to Sunday, inclusive of public holidays.
Successful candidates will have the following skills and attributes:
- Proven track record in a dynamic Customer Service aviation setting
- Demonstrated leadership in aviation or have transferable skills that will relate
- Skill in delivering constructive coaching and feedback to team members
- Capability to work autonomously, demonstrating initiative and drive
- Proficiency in high-level administrative tasks, planning, problem-solving, and organizational responsibilities
- Exceptional time management with adept task delegation skills
- Desirable familiarity with regulatory frameworks, safety systems, emergency response procedures, and airport operations
- Understanding of aviation safety and workplace health safety policies, practices, and principles
- Outstanding Customer Service, communication, and conflict management abilities
