A new full-time opportunity has become available within our Taree manufacturing site for a proactive Customer Services/ Supply Chain Administrator who is willing to build a career within the Supply Chain area. Ideally you would have Customer Service skills, be a good communicator and preferably experienced within a manufacturing environment and knowledgeable in coordinating freight transport. To be considered for this role, you will need to be able to demonstrate:
- Engagement directly with customers and freight providers.
- Management of customer expectations and building strong relationships.
- Work collaboratively within the Supply Chain dept, develop efficiencies, meet KPI's and improve the customer client relationship.
- Ensure all planned deliveries are made to customers locations each day, ensuring customer deliveries are completed within the allotted timeframes.
- Communicate plans to stakeholders where required.
- Ability to identify operational or performance issues and escalate accordingly.
- Respond to Customer Service or operational enquiries quickly and effectively.
- Optimising and improvement of freight processes, stock control.
- Provide hands on assistance.
- Inventory control management.
- Assist with any compliance requirements.
- General administrative duties.
- Work towards improving processes and assisting in the achievement of company objectives and KPI’s.
In this role you will ideally have:
- Understanding of the freight and logistics working environment
- A strong sense of Customer Service and ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Computer literacy, with competence in relevant software applications.
- Detailed understanding of compliance, procedures, and safety standards
- Ability to plan, think strategically, and communicate effectively at all levels.
- Proactive in initiating and completing improvements projects.
This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday with immediate start available.
