Job Title: CW7 Leading Hand
Location: North Rockhampton
Pay Rate: $35-$40/hr + super
Contract: 3 Months, possible extension
Start Date: 5th February 2024
Job Description
Ensuring the smooth and safe operation of the team
Helping the workers to meet goals
Mediating concerns with upper management
Applying policies and procedures
Supporting disciplinary actions brought about by supervisors
Promoting safe work environments and being responsible for the safety of their team
Monitoring inventory flow and identifying tool requirements in a company
Mentoring recruits
Collaborating with supervisors and managers
Providing motivation for team members to meet their goals
A main requirement is for someone who fits the culture with a positive "CAN DO" attitude and is self-motivated.
Applicant Essential Requirements:
Current Drivers Licence
Leading Hand Experience in Construction/Rail
Must hold a Construction White Card
Be able to provide 2 recent work references
Complete a National Police Check
Be willing to undergo and pass a pre-employment medical and Drug and alcohol screen
Beneficial but can be provided:
Safely Access The Rail Corridor (SARC) Certificate
