Job description

The Role:

Our Cyber Security team is growing! We are seeking a Cyber Security Analyst with specific experience with Industrial Control Systems operating systems, particularly power stations, to join our Cyber Security team to analyse and monitor ENGIE's Cyber Security measures and be responsible for the remediation, reporting, monitoring and compliance of ICS targets.

This role will report to the General Manager IT Operations & CISO.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist site engineers and control system teams in creating, implementing and maintaining a secure OT environment by applying security initiatives and solutions.
  • Complete activities to meet compliance with AESCSF, SOCI Act, ENGIE ICS policies and other relevant security requirements for ICS / OT systems.
  • Perform a range of systems security related activities including proactive monitoring, reactive support, and documentation of security incidents to support the IT Team and ensure configuration management standards are applied
  • Analyse security breaches and other security related incidents to identify root causes and ensure systems changes are identified and assessed while escalating potential breaches and provide back-up for global security operations responsibilities including escalation and reporting of issues within the group platforms
  • Directly manage or participate in the delivery of cybersecurity projects, directing and counselling project team members, and advising clients/users as necessary on all phases within the Group project management framework
  • Conducting security assessments through vulnerability testing and risk analysis to minimise the risk of security breaches

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have experience supporting Cyber Security of Industrial Control Systems with demonstrated experience using security tools such as SIEM and a good working knowledge of Cyber Security threats and preventative technologies and techniques. You are familiar with regulatory compliance and information security management frameworks such as IS027000, COBIT, NIST800.

You are able to communicate effectively, work collaboratively with others and can ensure accountability. You are naturally tech savvy and seek the most effective and efficient process to get things done
