This government agency is looking for a SIEM Cyber Security Engineer to join their established Cyber Security team in a 12-month contract role. You will have the opportunity of working at a government agency located in Sydney.
Your new role
As a Cyber Security Engineer, your role involves creating and deploying robust network solutions to mitigate cyber and technology risks within the organization. Additionally, you'll offer expert advice, guidance, and assurance for secure development projects, whether they're on premises or in the cloud.
What you'll need to succeed
As a SIEM Cyber Security Engineer, you will be required to possess the following skills and experience:
- Proficient in SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) and SOAR (Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response) technologies, such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, or Elastic.
- Skilled in EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response) technologies like CrowdStrike, TrendMicro, and Defender ATP.
- Hands-on experience with Vulnerability Management tools, including Randori, Tenable, and Spotlight.
- Excellent communication skills and experience in stakeholder management.
Candidates must be either a Permanent Resident (PR) in Australia or an Australian or New Zealand citizen to be considered
