Due to continued growth of our business, we have an exciting new opportunity for a Cyber Security Analyst to join our collaborative Information Security & Technology team!
Responsibilities
Working as part of a small team, you will play an integral role in the design, development and implementation of Cyber Security policies, education and methodologies to secure the organization’s data, network and infrastructure.
• Provide specialized technical expertise and recommendations on a broad range of technical and non-technical domains, including governance, risk & compliance, identity & access management, information protection, and incident response.
• Contribute to the execution of business continuity and disaster recovery in collaboration with business.
• Ensure work complies with Company policies and procedures, and external legislation.
• Contribute to strengthen security and safeguard company assets from malicious attacks.
• Work on tasks, process improvement and project initiatives as required by the IT leadership team and other senior leadership members.
• Implementation and development of deliverables, including success indicators of implementation timeframes, functionally and business continuity.
Your background
• Bachelor's Degree in IT and/or industry equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 years’ industry (preferably financial services) experience in threat analysis, incident response, vulnerability scanning or Cyber Security consulting in a corporate environment.
• In-depth understanding of cyber governance, risk assessment and security incident management.
• Strong knowledge of security controls within Office 365 / Microsoft Azure/ Firewalls/ Endpoint protection and other security products across various platforms.
• Experience on planning and execution of business continuity and disaster recovery would be an advantage.
• Demonstrated experienced with Information Security Management Frameworks, PCI and APRA, and relevant industry Certs, such as ISO27001, CISA & CISSP, would be an advantage.
• Capability for collaborating with colleagues at all levels across the business as well as external stakeholders.
• A critical thinker with analytical, planning, organizational and time management skills, and capability to work autonomously with minimum supervision.
• Desire to grow into an ownership/ leadership role in this field in the future.
