Your new role

As a Cyber Security Specialist, you’ll collaborate with an established government agency and their dedicated Infrastructure & Cyber team. Your role involves driving, implementing, and enhancing Essential 8 Security controls. You’ll be the proactive force, taking charge and ensuring tasks are accomplished, even if it means handling them independently. Your focus will be on long-term strategic impact.

In addition to security control implementation, you’ll play a pivotal role in uplifting their security maturity. Your impact will resonate across the organization, safeguarding critical assets and ensuring a resilient security posture.

What you'll need to succeed

• Expertise in Essential 8 framework.
• The ability to liaise closely with stakeholders, both technical and non-technical, to ensure successful outcomes.
• Hands-on experience with the implementation of Cyber Security controls.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
