D365 F&O Senior Finance Functional Consultant

Talenza is seeking a Senior D365 F&OFunctional Consultant to join a boutique consultancy who have partnered with a Retail/FMCG enterprise.
Responsibilities:

• Spearhead the conceptualization, configuration, and testing of Microsoft Dynamics Core finance modules, encompassing GL, AP, AR, Procurement, and Fixed Assets.
• Lead and oversee intricate finance projects, fostering seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders across diverse business units.
• Drive the realization of finance effectiveness objectives through the utilization of Dynamics 365 F&O and develop finance report designs to enhance reporting capabilities.
• Identify system gaps, preparing comprehensive functional design documentation.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to achieve essential business objectives and ERP solution and enhancement requests.
• Assist in data migrations and mapping exercises, working closely with Developers on Data Integration designs and testing between D365 and external systems.
• Conduct training sessions for business users on the functionality of finance modules and any delivered enhancements.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience as a Dynamics 365 Finance consultant with exposure to retail and supply chain domains.
• Proven Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations implementations experience, with post Go-Live warranty support.
• Expertise in delivering training and consulting services in Finance Module and Implementations.
• Proficient in business analysis, showcasing strong documentation skills to capture business requirements, gaps, functional specifications, test scripts, and training guides.
• Ability to convey technical concepts in a clear and simple manne
• Comfortable working in an Agile Product team, with daily interactions with both consulting and business resources.
• Possess relevant Microsoft Dynamics 365 Certifications.
• Proficient in creating project artifacts such as FDDs, KDDs, and SDDs.
• Previous working experience with Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power BI, and Automate).

Details:

• Salary: $170,000 to $180,000 Base + Super
• Location: Remote
• Length: Initial 1-year max-term contract
