Job description

Wanted: Motivated individual to support the Data Delivery functions of Landgate’s location data.  

About the role

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our collaborative team. As well as working with a group of dedicated and knowledgeable professionals, this is a great opportunity to apply your skills towards the efficient delivery of location information.  

The Data Delivery function is responsible for the quality and timely provision of location information through coordinating customer requests for geospatial products and services. This involves analysing customer data needs, preparing quotations based on technical advice, extracting, and supplying data in various formats, as well as managing the associated finance and administrative components of payment and invoicing. Data Delivery Coordinators use various GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and information systems to deliver tailor made solutions and work with a broad range of subject matter experts and datasets including cadastre, tenure, aerial imagery, topographic, digital elevation models, and LiDAR, just to name a few.  

As a Data Delivery Coordinator, you will work collaboratively with a range of internal and external stakeholders to quote, deliver, and invoice incoming transactional customer requests for geospatial products and services. You will also provide administrative support for data-related programs, mapping, native title and other spatial services.

Role Requirements

To be successful in this role, please demonstrate:

  • Well-developed communication skills and the ability to interpret and convey technical information clearly and accurately across multiple channels.
  • Ability to plan and organise your workload to consistently deliver quality outcomes.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work with others to deliver customer focused solutions.

Though not essential, relevant experience or knowledge of location-based information and/or experience in business information (EBS) and Customer Relationship Management systems CRM (preferably Dynamics) is desirable.
