• We are looking for a Data Engineer for Data Warehouse with good amount of experience on Informatica / Azure AWS Cloud Environment.
• The primary focus will be on translating business requirements into technical specifications, including data streams, integrations, transformations, databases, and data warehouses.
• Ensure that industry-accepted data architecture principles and standards are integrated and followed for modeling, stored procedures, replication, regulations, and security, among other concepts, to meet technical and business goals.

Mandatory Skills:

• Certified Azure data engineer with extensive knowledge on relational databases.
• 10+ years of experience with deep knowledge of SQL scripting.
• Expert knowledge in Data Modeling and Data Warehousing concepts.
• Data analysis and modeling tools (e.g. Power Designer, ERWin, ER/Studio).
• Exposure to Informatica and Azure services.
• Experience in code management with Git and Bit-Bucket.
• Know how to work with Git and GitFlow.
• Exposure to working with Analytics and Data Scientist is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience with team management.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills.
• End-to-End project execution, requirement gathering, transforming legacy design to Cloud eco system.
• Development, Testing, UAT Support and GO Live support.
• Azure Stack, Informatica.
• Modeling Tools – ER/Studio 16.x, SQL Power Architect.
• Databases – Oracle 10g/11g, SQL Server, Teradata.
• ETL/BI Tools - QlikView, QuickSight, Power BI.
• Scripts/Languages - Python, SQL/PLSQL, T-SQL, Unix Shell Script.
• Dev-ops tools: - JIRA, GIT, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Jenkins, Confluence.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyzing and translating business needs into long-term solution data models.
• Evaluating existing data systems.
• Working with the development team to create conceptual data models and data flows.
• Develop diagrams representing key data entities and their relationships.
• Developing best practices for data coding to ensure consistency within the system.
• Reviewing modifications of existing systems for cross-compatibility.
• Implementing data strategies and developing physical data models.
• Updating and optimizing local and metadata models.
• Evaluating implemented data systems for variances, discrepancies, and efficiency.
• Troubleshooting and optimizing data systems.
