- Play a key role in developing and implementing a robust Data Governance framework.
- Contribute to the development of a comprehensive catalogue of Critical Data Elements.
- Take product ownership of key objectives, contribute to long term planning, and define what it will take to meet our ambitious goals to improve data reliability & quality.
- Track and report on Data Governance milestones and KPIs to our executive leadership.
- Foster a collaborative culture around Data Governance.
- Define data classification schemes and metadata standards.
- Empower and support data stewards in defining our data risk controls.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and industry standards.
Desired Skills and Experience
A little bit about you…
The skills you've picked up along the way:
- Great analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- At least 7 years of experience in Data Governance or a related role.
- Strong understanding of Data Governance principles, practices, and tools.
- In-depth knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance requirements.
- A background in & subject matter expertise of financial services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal s kills.
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
Your life pre-Judo:
- A strong background in Data - data engineering, architecture, analytics, or data science.
- Work experience in an Australian Financial Services institution.
- Working knowledge of commercial banking.
- Experience in defining, documenting, and implementing:
- Critical Data Elements,
- Data Risk Controls, and
- Data Quality frameworks.
