About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Data & Insights Analyst within our Corporate Strategy & Performance Team. Reporting to the Team Leader Corporate Strategy & Performance, you will take carriage of Council’s data and insights program playing a key role in establishing corporate performance, enabling data-led decision making and contributing to delivery of key strategic initiatives across the organisation.
The successful applicant will need to demonstrate their competency for the position by meeting the following essential criteria:
- Relevant Tertiary Qualifications (e.g. Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics or IT) and/or relevant industry experience.
- Demonstrated experience creating and maintaining dashboards and interactive visual reporting.
- Experience with SQL database querying, reporting and integration.
- Demonstrated strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge and/or experience in the determination of business success measures, data capture, extraction and analysis to contribute to corporate planning, reporting and business improvements
