We are seeking candidates with a strong background in Data Insights, with the ability to comprehend and present compelling insights to internal stakeholders. These insights will not only significantly impact the donor experience but also go beyond seeking new financial opportunities!
About the role:
In this role, you will use an innovative approach to harness consumer behavioural data. Another core focus in your role will be creating interactive and automated dashboards to empower the fundraising team to make strategic decisions through proactive in-depth analysis and insights.
Key responsibilities:
- Business partner with the Individual Giving fundraising team, providing insights in order to elevate fundraising campaigns.
- Design and build reporting data models that support user self-serve reporting.
- Identify data to integrate with the warehouse to develop actionable insights to drive business decisions.
- Build customer segmentation analytics and campaign performance reporting.
- Proactively organising training and development activities for business to facilitate adaption.
- Design, build, test and present meaningful insights from a complex range of data.
- Be an SME in the various channels used by the Individual Giving team.
- Support regular and ad hoc data requests from the Individual Giving team and other business areas - consult and recommend the best possible way to answer business data questions, assisting in a timely manner.
Essential criteria:You will be passionate about providing insights to leverage fundraising campaigns, and will have previous sector experience or experience with Data Insights in a similar environment such as sales or marketing.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, economics, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related field.
- Experience working with fundraising, sales or marketing teams
- Experience with data visualisation and querying tools such as Power BI and SQL.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of data modelling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
- Strong ability to work in T-SQL and DAX queries.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
