The Role:
As a Senior AnalystData Insight and Visualisation, you will lead the charge in establishing and influencing best-in-class stakeholder engagement, design thinking, visual design, analytics, and reporting practices within NAB's Business & Private Bank (B&PB). This role goes beyond traditional analytics roles; you will be uplifting capability and driving the Analytics & Reporting department forward by focusing on innovation and design, and by fostering a culture of curiosity, innovation, and excellence.
The role and Day to day will include:
- Define best practices in line with industry trends and B&PB's Analytics & Reporting strategy
- Stakeholder engagement
- Design Thinking
- Analysis & automation
- Storytelling and report design (visual & interaction)
- Power BI report development
- Uplift capability of peers through leadership, education, and influence
- Stay current with latest releases of critical tools
- Test recent updates and new features in tools used by the teams (predominantly Power BI, Alteryx, DataBricks), and other relevant software tools to assess their applicability to the team's needs
- Provide recommendations on adopting features that enhance the department's efficiency, information communication, and/or analytics capabilities
