You will be part of Housing Insights which is responsible for leadership and coordination of evidence-based advice to inform strategy and reform directions in the housing portfolio.
You will lead and manage a small team and work in partnership across other teams in Policy, Performance and First Nations division to deliver strategic policy projects and activities.
As the Data Insights Manager, you will be required to:
• Lead and manage a team to deliver expert analysis, interpretation and communication of data for the department.
• Lead and manage analysis and modelling projects to support a broad range of policy and service delivery imperatives related to the services delivered and contracted by the department.
• Monitor and analyse current and emerging housing-related data trends in Queensland and across Australia.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to report and provide authoritative advice about the implications of data, including communicating technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
• Deliver data interpretive expertise to research and evaluation projects and to the department's knowledge base that contributes to strategic direction.
• Lead the preparation of high quality, complex written reports, submissions, briefing notes, speeches, publications and correspondence in accordance with deadlines.
• Support and help maintain a workplace safety culture by ensuring that all policies and practices concerning Workplace Health and Safety are applied and are part of day-to-day operations.
