We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable / Associate Accountant to join our team based in Macquarie Park for a 3-month contract. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role is responsible for providing support to the Sydney Finance team and plays a key role in ensuring companywide expenditure is accurately recorded and monitored.
Key responsibilities for this position include (but are not limited to):
- Collate, enter and process invoices into SAP for payment
- Reconcile Monthly Statements
- Process Staff and AMEX expenses through Concur
- Create non-inventory purchase orders
- Monitor monthly spend of phone and internet usage
- Liaise with suppliers and internal parties for Finance related queries
- Assist in full implementation of the Purchase Invoice system
The key skills required for this role include:
- Accounting Degree or equivalent accounting education
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in an accounting environment
- Sound knowledge of SAP
- Intermediate experience using Microsoft Excel
- Good reconciliation skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
