Roadmaster is seeking to employ an energetic and enthusiastic person to join our Operations team based in Tomago, Newcastle NSW.
Reporting to the NSW State Manager, you will work within our Operations team to ensure interstate / regional and local are alloacted accurately.Have an understanding of safety and compliance. Answer all customer enquires via email or by phone.
This position requires the successful applicant to commence work Monday to Friday with a10am start time.
The duties/responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
- Follow up with drivers throughout the day and updating our system
- Communicating and building strong relationships with Customers and Drivers
- Warehouse duties – Support warehouse staff with information
- This is a very hands on role which will require doing deliveries or loading / unloading of trucks from time to time.
The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:
- Previous experience in the use of Transport Management Systems, Roadmaster uses (Truckmate) and would be an advantage
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Knowledge of Newcastle metro is a must
- Accurate data entry and attention to detail
- Superior Customer service and organizational skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
- Able to effectively problem solve
- Hold a current HR licence
- Hold a current fork lift licence
